Jesse Pomeroy (14 years old) - white, evidence to support that he killed two young children - got 40 years in solitary confinement

George Stinney (14 years old) - black, despite no evidence, was found guilty of killing two young children - got electrocuted.

i got a speeding ticket in tenn by a state trooper that came around the curve as I was passing a slow motorist. I sped up so as to not hit the trooper head on. he pulled me and wrote me a speeding ticket.
This is the same game being played all over the country...technicality crimes. You didn't ride your brakes down that hill so, for coasting over the speed limit you now owe thousands to the gov't and insurance companies. Then ,there's the cops sitting in speed zone changes writing tickets because, you were two miles over while, approaching a lower speed limit. Technicalities is the new game.

There was never any written record of this "confession". And, even if it DID happen, he was fourteen years old surrounded by angry grown men who hated him and didn't care how much pain he was in. Is it that unlikely that, if he DID "confess", he was coerced?

Yeah, sure, people are supporting a young black boy -- they MUST automatically also be black. I'm white (about as white as it gets, just short of being albino) AND I live in the South, and I definitely believe Stinney to have been innocent. There is NO proof that he comitted those crimes, but in the mid-1900s, there were people who would find ANY excuse to kill someone just for being black.

The people on this comment board who say George was innocent base their conclusion on the fact that there was no physical evidence and the trial was unfair towards the suspect. The people who say George was guilty base their conclusion on the color of his skin, and try to hide their racism by stating that the boy confessed, when it has been proven that false confessions occur on a regular basis in case law, especially when the suspect is a child who can be easily manipulated by an authoratative adult.
I feel sorry for the people who are unable to possess common sense, the only tool that would cure racism.

I've been listed on a number of dating Web sites over the past ten years or so, mostly with no results. The only one that actually connected me to women for dating is PlentyofFish, which is free for a basic listing. I'm not saying that there is nothing wrong there, but at no cost, it actually has connected me with datable women. The sex dating sites are certainly scams, in my opinion.
